Shooting the Tube
By High Courage out of Noble Cascade, born 1996, Shooting the Tube is a chestnut filly, with a white star and one white sock. Freckle, as we call her, is the quietest of all our horses, and is a very social people-focussed horse. Everytime anyone goes into the paddock or yard, she must come to check them out..
Freckle has had two work preparations at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, and three races since she was broken in. She has grown into a well formed rich chestnut filly.
Her trainer, Bill Bennett, was the leading trainer at Gladstone in the 1998-99 season. Freckle is once again spelling.  She has completed her third preparation with one win and a third placing from four starts.  She is showing more confidence in her racing, and will probably race best over 1000metres.
Freckle (Shooting the Tube) has pleased work rider Judy and trainer Bill by winning her class one race at Gladstone Racetrack in May 2000. Freckle has now finished her race career, just in time to go to stud .  Her partner in crime was Wild Harmony, and American bred and raced stallion which has been standing in Victoria, and now in Queensland.
